Week Ahead: May 2-6
|Hope you had a great 4 day weekend. As the weather heats up here in Vietnam, so does the “busy” level at SSIS. Check out the upcoming events between now and the end of the year. So as I think about what’s to come, I think about it as choices. We get to chose what opportunities we create for our students. And the end of year is full of the ones they remember for a long, long time – the performances, the pressure of the end of term, the celebrations, and the fun time with their friends. Our intentionality matters – so let’s keep working together, planning and creating experiences that our students will remember.
By the way, I will continue to update these, and this is the central location where you can find dates that may impact your planning.
If you are using your Google calendar, please note that events are found on 1 calendar – the one that includes the greatest amount of people impacted (this is a school wide practice). So for middle school events, if the event involves a large group of students and/or parents, it goes on the MS Parent/Student calendar. If it only impacts teachers, it goes on the MS Faculty calendar. I highly recommend turning on (or adding if you haven’t done that yet; here are the directions) the MS Parent/Student calendar and the MS Faculty calendar. This may help with tracking events and activities.
