Week Update: April 20

Almost to Spring Break … hard to believe how fast time flies.  As we close in on the break, remember that if all classes schedule big tests, quizzes, and projects – kids are going to be very overloaded.  Be checking with other teachers to ensure that you get the best out of students … the logistics of time can’t be manipulated.

It’s a busy week with Earth Week events.  Be sure to keep up with advisory plans, daily GIN Earth Week events, etc.

Earth Week Schedule:

All days except Thursday advisory will meet at the end of the day and we will follow the House League schedule. If you have any time after the activities please use it for DEAR

MAP Testing:
We are conducting MAP testing right after Spring Break.  Tina sent the schedule 2 weeks ago.  It’s hard to return from a break and go right into testing.  Let’s try to make sure students understand the schedule.  Grades 6 and 7 take their Reading test on Monday, May 4th.
