Week Ahead: October 26
|What a great end to a great week … the Food Festival should be a ton of fun. Today, let’s all be checking in with kids, making sure the schedule is being followed, and generally having an “all hands on deck” sort of day (in particular during the parade/photo and the Food Festival). I am expecting that all faculty will be at the Food Festival from 2:35 (when you take your last class down) until 3:30 – and being on chaperone status 🙂 We really want to make sure that our lovely middle school students remember what it means to taste … and not eat.

Hiring Update: Yes, we have already begun the hiring season. Thank you to Pam McKinnon and Alison Leathwood for assisting with the hiring process for our 3 open positions (2 PE and 1 Social Studies). We are already getting a tremendous number of applications … and we always want to know of other great candidates. So if you know of anyone applying and can give additional insight – or know of candidates who we’d like to apply – be sure to let me know.
Health Survey: Please complete this survey sent out by Tina Fossgreen: In the development of the Health Curriculum, before we move forward we would like to survey teachers at each grade level to their perceived needs for our student population.
