Dragon’s Apprentice Fair, Thursday:  We will be running on the HL schedule on Friday to support the Grade 6 Dragon’s Apprentice Fair.  Gr 6 students will be promoting/selling their products from 2:30-3:30 on Thursday.  This will be located in the Flag Pavilion (area by the main gate).  In order to assist with customer traffic flow, Gr 7 advisors can take their advisories from 2:30-2:45; Gr 8 advisors can take their advisories from 2:45-3.  We hope that most advisors will be able to support this and attend.  Please see Abena Bailey, Greg Jardin or Eric Schoonard for more information if needed.  Please note:  This was originally on the calendar for Thursday.  But it’s really on Friday.  Sorry for any confusion.

Overseas Orders:  Overseas orders are due this Friday, Feb. 19.  Please see the email of Feb. 1 for the allocation and ordering information.  If you have questions, please ask them as soon as possible.

Special Schedules:  There are a few swaps to the schedule coming up.  These are noted on the Google “Day” calendar as well as the MS summary calendar we have in the Divisional folder.  Here is a quick list through March:  Feb. 22; Feb. 24/25; Mar. 1; Mar. 14-18 (yes, the entire week).

Assessment for Learning Strategy:  This week, our Wednesday professional development time is in our Assessment for Learning groups.  As we work with the new Grade Report Guidelines, many people were thinking about formative assessment strategies and how to communicate that information to parents.  This week, you might think about focusing on that topic.  What assessment for learning strategies will you be using in the coming weeks?  How can you use PowerSchool to communicate those results to students and parents?
