Week Ahead: February 29

There are many times I find myself filled with pride about our school, our kids, our faculty.  From the MRISA championships and the numbers of faculty and students who showed up in support of our HS teams, to the amazing work I saw on behalf of kids this week, I had so many moments of tear-inducing pride this week.  I can’t thank you enough.

• Feb 29 – Gr 8 pre-registration presentation, 11:40-12:10  (in advisory, presentation given by advisor)
• Mar 2 – Gr 7 pre-registration presentation, 11:50-12:10 (in library, Gr 7 students and advisors to report directly to library after lunch – then to Block E)
• Mar 3 – Gr 8 pre-registration presentation with HS counselors, 11:40-12:10 (2 groups/2 locations; Mark Crowell’s room and Rebecca Jardin’s room)
• Mar 8 – Gr 6 pre-registration presentation, 11:50-12:10 (in library, Gr 6 students report directly to library after lunch – then to Block E)

• Mar 14 – Gr 8 electronic pre-registration, 11:40-12:10 (2 groups/2 locations; Mark Crowell’s room and Rebecca Jardin’s room)
• Mar 17 – Gr 7 electronic pre-registration, 1:10-1:30 (1 group/location; Library and Dragon’s Den if space is needed)
• Mar 17 – Gr 6 electronic pre-registration, 1:45-2 (1 group/location; library and Dragon’s Den if space is needed)

Comments and Grades for 3rd Quarter:  This is coming fast.  Comments and grades are due on Wednesday, Mar. 23 by 3:00 at the latest.  We will print verification reports starting at 3:00; those must be finalized by 12:15 on Thursday, Mar. 24.  We will be printing “comment only” report cards starting at 12:15 on Thursday to be used in Student Led Conferences.  Be sure to plan ahead and have your comments proofed by a colleague.
