MAP Testing:  Thank you all for your preparation related to MAP testing.  Here is a repeat of the information shared via email:

We will be administering the MAP on May 5 (Reading), 10 (Language Usage) and 12 (Math).  Please find the MAP testing schedule here.
We will be testing in combined advisory groups.  The groups are as follows with the lead proctor is indicated with a *.
*Pam and Stephen (A307)                             *Abena and Eric (A207)
*Kat and Lisa (A213)                                       *Natalie and Greg (A203)
*Gary and Siqin (A209)                                  *Zach and Stacy (302)
*Mark and Amy (A311)                                    *Rebecca and Vaughan (Art Room)
*Brian and Gregor (A205)                               *Amy – small group EAL/LS (A315)
*Stacy – small group EAL/LS (A309)            *Bonnie – small group EAL/LS  (A304)
Ana and Robert will be floaters providing support and assistance as needed.
Lead proctors will be responsible for setting up the testing sessions.  Please remember to exclude the EAL/LS student (list here) who will be testing in small groups.
Tina prepared a google folder with proctor information.  All proctors need to read read through the materials in the folder (not just lead proctors).  Please discuss who will be doing what during the testing session with your co-proctor.  If you have any questions, please ask Tina or me as soon as the question emerges.  That way will can ensure that you will be comfortable with your proctor responsibilities.
As we know, our students generally take these tests very seriously.  Please take time to talk with the students about the test coming up and how we use it to measure growth over the year. Remind them that asking others what their score is may make their friends uncomfortable (and it’s not really good manners do that even if you are close friends).

Leadership Team Elections:  The Leadership Team has made a few adjustments to the LT Governing Document related to the selection of members and terms of office in order to ensure successful sustained leadership over time (we are still finalizing wording in the Governing Doc).  There will be 2 open positions for the 2016-2017 Leadership Team.  As soon as the master schedule is complete and teaching assignments finalized, we will determine eligible candidates for the open positions.  I am hoping this will be done upon our return from the long weekend.
