73. Coronavirus Update | Schools to Reopen March 1, 2021
|Dear Faculty and Staff,
Thank you all for your time and attention today.
We are delighted to inform you that the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City has announced that all schools are allowed to reopen on Monday, March 1 in accordance with directive 546/UBND-VX.
We will maintain our strict 3-layered COVID protocols for students’ return to campus and until further notice.
- Masks will be mandatory everywhere on campus (inside classrooms, in PE class, during recess, on the field, in hallways, in offices).
- Handwashing and disinfecting will happen at the beginning and end of each class and whenever entering a new space.
- Adhere to maximum numbers for each space.
- No parents on campus.
- No external students on campus (no sports games or other student competitions)
- Essential visitors only with the approval of Chris Beanes.
- Field trips within HCMC are permitted.
- No food for events or meetings. Food is permitted in socially distanced spaces: MS cafeteria, HS kiosk, ES classrooms, faculty lounges.
