82. Coronavirus Update: Optional Work From Home
|Dear Faculty and Staff,
In light of the current evolving COVID outbreak in HCMC, and in support of the People’s Committee of Ho Chi Minh City directive #1737/UBND-VX we encourage, but do not require, teachers, counselors, and teaching assistants to Work From Home tomorrow, Monday, May 31, and until further notice.
Staff managers will communicate with departments to coordinate essential personnel to maintain the functioning of the school.
The campus will remain open to all other personnel, who will report to the school, as we coordinate continuity of business operations. If you are uncertain whether or not the off-site conditions apply to you or if you have specific concerns, please contact your divisional principal or supervisor.
Current lockdown situation
The lockdown situation in HCMC is changing quickly as the health authority continues its extensive contact tracing. We have several faculty and staff that have been instructed to stay in their apartments. The apartment management of these locations is, generally, doing a good job of keeping its residents informed of the situation and also providing access to delivery.
Please do not hesitate to contact WaiMun or me if you have any questions or concerns about the Work From Home option.
Please stay safe, healthy, and calm.
Catriona
