March 10th – 14th
I hope you all had a great weekend! Our sessions with Erin Kent Consulting over the last two weeks gave us some fresh ideas to try in our classrooms. This week, pick just one strategy that stood out to you—whether it’s a new way to manage your classroom, boost student engagement, or simply reflect on your teaching.
Taking one small step can make a big difference. Try it out, see how it goes, and share your thoughts with the team. Let’s make this week amazing and keep growing together while we tend to our gardens.
Our ES drama students will be performing The Claw on Friday at 6 pm and Saturday at 1:30. This play is a fantastic opportunity for our students to showcase their creativity and hard work, and it promises to be a delightful experience for all who attend. Please be sure to come and watch an unforgettable performance.
Melanie, will be presenting at a conference this week, so she will be off campus Thursday afternoon and Friday. Her presentation will highlight our mid level leadership structure and how other schools can create similar opportunities in their communities.
Let’s make this week amazing and keep growing together while we tend to our gardens.
#DragonsIgnite 3-7 March
A special shoutout to Gretchen for showing our Grade 1 teachers how she introduced and used Magic School AI as a guided research tool with Grade 1 students. She highlighted the power of customizing bots for individual learners, empowering each child to personalize their interactions with AI and ensuring everyone receives the support they need. Additionally, Carrie planned an engaging introduction to AI for her Grade 5 students. I encourage you to connect with Gretchen to learn more about her experiences using AI in lower elementary and with Carrie for insights into its impact in upper elementary school. I’m here to assist you in introducing AI to your students through the collaborative cycle! Feel free to send me an invite or stop by the coaching hub!

CTP Testing
The window is April 14 – 25, with make up on April 28-29 and May 5-7.
Grade level teams should complete the same test in the same window (i.e. All grade 3 teachers test Reading Comprehension on the same date at the same time.). This helps with EAL and LS coordination and tech support.
