March 18th – 22nd
I hope last week’s session with Tom Schimmer provided some clarity on our approach to standards, assessments, and nurturing the habits of our learners. It’s quite possible that this clarity led to several “aha” moments, as well as a few new questions. This is a natural and valuable part of the learning process, and I encourage you to continue asking questions and sharing your insights. As we engage in our SUPP work this week, it presents a perfect moment for reflection and deep discussions about our continuous efforts.
It’s timely that, after pondering what collaboration means from our students’ perspective, we find ourselves collaborating across grade levels this week. I encourage you to think about how the teamwork you experience with your colleagues can reflect the collaborative skills we aim to cultivate in our learners. There’s valuable insight to be gained from drawing these parallels.
On another note, we’re all looking forward to the ES drama production of “Bots!” this Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. If you’re available, please join us at 6:00 PM on Friday or at 1:30 PM on Saturday. It’s shaping up to be a wonderful performance by our students.
