GET YOUR FREAK ON!

We have been getting many visits from 9th and 10th graders  “Freaking Out” feeling stressed and overwhelmed with the various transitions to and in high school.  Robert and I have been  visiting 9th grade Study Halls this week introduced: SLANT.  See here: http://campus-adr.net/cre2016/activities/2832.html

We are also going over planner usage/electronic calendaring and reminders, notes on phone and stickies.  If you find it beneficial and useful,  continue to have conversations with your students,  just spend time checking in,  or use the SLANT Practice in your classroom.

STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES
Here is the STUDENT SUPPORT SERVICES SPREADSHEET    that we discussed last week during our student support meeting of all of our students who are receiving services from one or more of our programs.  Learning Support (LS), EAL, and Student of  Concern (SC).  We hope this will help streamline the process.

 

TEACHER REFERRAL PROCESS FOR STUDENTS OF CONCERN
