International Day– We have a special schedule (see above) for international day this Friday. Â Students will quickly check in and drop their bags off in their first block class (C Block) then walk down to the Plaza. Â We will take a quick all school photo on the field then head back to class. Â At the end of the day, we will be having an international food festival on the ES field. Â You will dismiss your students from your last block class at 2:45 and walk with them to the ES area. Â While there students, teachers and parents will be able to sample foods from around the world.
Tim Away April 22 – 28, 2017-Â Tim will be away from Saturday, April 22nd until April 29th. Â He will be back in school on May 1st. Â Tim will be visiting the Nansha College Preparatory Academy near Guangzhou, China as part of a WASC accreditation team.
HS Principal Survey Reflections– I have spent a lot of time already wading through the data from my HS Principal’s survey.  I am just waiting to have my meeting with the HoS before finalizing my reflections.  Between WASC and strategic planning it has been hard to find a common time.  My hope is to share my reflections with you by the end of next week.
Quarter 4 Comments– Please start writing your quarter 4 comments. Â May is a super busy month, so the sooner you get started the easier things will be in June as you close out the year.
HS Athletic Awards and Spring Concert– Come out and support our student athletes on Monday starting at 6pm and musicians on Thursday starting at 7pm.. Â Both events are in the auditorium. Â Hope to see you there.
End of Year Important Dates– We have put together an end of the year important dates calendar for you reference. Â While it does not have everything, it is a quick reference for you for planning purposes.
Grade 12 Issues with PowerSchool– Please pay careful attention to Thomas Galvez’s post in the Matrix section of the Dragon’s Lair about significant changes for grade 12 students this week.  Thomas, Tim and Jacob are also available to answer additional questions and/or provide technical support.
