Order Your Project X T-Shirts–  To build a sense of whole school community and excitement for Project X, all faculty and staff will get a Project X t-shirt.    While HS is not fully participating this year, we need to support this worthy all school initiative that will include grades 9 and 10 in 2018-19.  This shows the t-shirt design and the sizing chart.  Please self-measure one of your tshirts (that you feel comfortable when wearing) and compare with the chart below to identify the shirt size that you would like to have. Note that there are different sizes for men & women.

There is one t-shirt per person that will be worn, Thursday, 25 January; Monday, 29 January and Friday, 2 February; giving time to wash in between wearings.  You can order your HS Shirt Here Please indicate M for men and W for women to place your order.  We encourage everyone to get a shirt, but it is optional.  If you don’t want a shirt, please put an X in the last box.

Tripod Survey Results– The results of your Tripod surveys should be coming before break.  We will include the overall HS divisional  results, so you can put your’s in context.  Some of our staff wanted these results before break last year, while others wished they had waited to see them afterwards.  Please consider this choice before you look at your results.  Additionally, Huyen will be scheduling a Tripod reflection meeting with you and your supervisor before Tet break.

New Staff in the HS 2018-19

Schedule for December 4 – 13, 2017. (8 days of classes)

We will run the Advisory schedule on Monday, December 4th and 11th and on Thursday, December 7th.  We will run an A-H schedule on Thursday, Dec. 14th with a 10 minute Advisory at the end of the day.

Each block during the last two weeks of school will be assigned a two block of time where you may choose to deliver an AP/DP Mock type exam, have students give presentations to their peers, work on a project or some other authentic activity of your choosing.  The only class allowed to give a major assessment on these days is the two hour block class to ensure we are not overloading our students with assessments on any given day.

Thursday, December 14, 2017 will be an A – H Block Day with Advisory
