Weekly Update: July 31 – August 4
|Welcome back fellow Dragons. Â Tim, Robert and I have been here for a couple weeks now eagerly awaiting your arrival. Â We hope you had an amazing break full of positive memories. Â A highlight for me each year is a camping trip that I take with seven or so of my friends and their kids. Â It is a bit chaotic at times with seven or so dads in charge of 14-20 kids. Â As with most of the stories I share on the Dragon’s Lair this has a connection to our work together as well. Â The last time many of these adults and children saw each other was at the camping trip the year previous. Â What I recognized was how quickly we gelled together as a group. Â It was almost as if only a couple weeks of time had passed. Â It has only been a couple of months of separation for us. Â We have laid a strong foundation for growth over the last couple of years. Â With only four new teachers joining our division, I am excited how quickly we can gel together. Â The race is about to begin and I cannot think of a better group of colleagues to join together with.
See you all on Tuesday!
Jacob
