Weekly Update: November 6 – 20th
|It’s been great not needing to wear a mask around the campus. It’s also been great to have our sports teams playing against other schools.
I would like to thank Erica Neal and StuCo, along with all the Advisory teachers, for making last week’s Halloween activities a big success including the Blue Dragon’s Movie night on Friday.

Assessment Calendar: Be sure to use the Assessment Calendar for all major assessments and IB due dates. These items should be on the Assessment Calendar two weeks prior to the due date or assessment date.
IB SL Drop Blocks: Please remember that if you have a SL/ HL slip class that on the SL drop block classes the SL students are to work in the Library or in a. Study Hall room. If you have an SL only class (SL English or an ab initio class) then these students remain in your classroom for a Study Hal time.
Assessments during the SL Drop Block classes: SL student cannot do an assessment during their SL drop block class as this would increase their number of hours of instruction. The drop block class is a Study Hall for SL students.
Tripod Surveys
Each day, two blocks are designated for the Tripod surveys. Each teacher will have at least 3 of their blocks take the survey for them. We will be using the short version of the survey that takes about 10 minutes.
Teachers will receive individual survey tickets for your students and a script to read beforehand. Here is the list of HS blocks/courses that will be surveyed.
Please read through the administration guide and script and the Teacher Toolkit for Tripod for more information about the Tripod Survey and the data you will receive. Here is the schedule for the blocks that need to be surveyed:
- Nov 9 Block F / Block G
- Nov 10 Block C / Block D
- Nov 11 Block H / Block E
- Nov 12 Block A / Block B
- Nov 13 Early Dismissal / PD Afternoon
- Nov 16 No School
- Nov 17 Make-up Day for Blocks ABCD
