Staff Action Needed
- Take some time this Wednesday afternoon with no divisional or all school meeting to send a quick email personally inviting the parents of your students that are struggling in your classes to our parent teacher conferences.
Jacob Away on School Visits– Molly, Dan, Tina and Mark are already in Boston for training for our new standardized test from the ERB. I will be joining them at the end of the week, as we visit nearby schools. We will be looking at programs and facilities among other things during our visits. We will be visiting Boston Latin School, Phillips Exeter Academy, The Roxbury Latin and The Windsor School to name a few of them. I will return to school on Friday, October 27th.
Parent/Teacher Conferences Oct 19/20– Just a reminder that our PTC’s take place on Thursday (4-8pm) and Friday (8am-1pm). We will have some food in the fitness lab C014 (HS basement down by the music rooms) on Thursday evening around 3pm and a light breakfast and sandwich/salad bar for lunch on Friday. You are welcome to leave school at 12:30 on Thursday and return by 3:30pm for conferences that start at 4pm.
Oct 25 Faculty Meeting: Feedback for Grade 11/12 WWW– We will be discussing our programs for grade 11 and 12 students during WWW’s during our October 25th faculty meeting while our memories are still fresh.  We will be using a Critical Friends Group protocol to help us envision how we can best serve the interests of students during this time frame in the future.
