Dear High School Families,

Today, I wanted to follow up with you concerning the AP and IB exams in May.

As I mentioned in my previous email, both the AP and IB are in the process of reviewing their exam requirements. Last night, the AP announced a few of their changes and they will follow up with more information by April 3. The IB will announce the adjustments that they are making by March 27. As always, the most up-to-date information about the status of the examinations can be found on their websites, here: College Board (AP) and IBO (IBDP).

What we learned from the AP update is that they will not hold face-to-face exams. Instead, there will be two dates for virtual testing. As of yet, we do not have the exact dates and details of the virtual testing, but we will follow up as soon as that information becomes available.

On Monday, you can expect to hear more from us regarding the exams. In the meantime, students, please don’t lose steam – keep up the great work you have been doing so far to meet the assignment requirements! Continued study is critical to your success.

Have a great weekend,

Jacob Hendrickson
SSIS High School Principal
