Mock Exam – Invigilation, Attendance, Procedure, etc

2019 MOCK EXAMS

Mock exams will run from Wednesday, 6 March – Wednesday, 13 March, 2019. Please see the detailed schedule here: Mock Exam Schedule March 2019. The first tab shows the exam timing. The second tab shows the invigilation schedule. The other tabs show students’ attendance for exams. You’ve all been sent individualized calendar invites for your invigilation duties. If you accepted these, you’ll be sent reminders. If you are absent on a day you have invigilation duty, please ensure that Ms. Huyen is aware of this so that the substitute can be given appropriate instructions.

• Morning exams will start at 8:00am; invigilators need to report by 7:45am
• Afternoon exams will start at 12:15pm; invigilators need to report by 12:00noon
• Cassie will bring all exam materials and stationery to the room(s) and assist in setting up and starting exams whenever available.
• Upon completion of exams, invigilators should collect and return all material to Cassie’s office.
• Please note late arrivals, early departures, and bathroom breaks on the seating charts (Cassie will provide).

A copy of the full Conduct of Exams will be available in the room for your reference. Portions to be read will be highlighted for each exam. There will be two invigilators in every room to enable students to take bathroom breaks and in case of emergencies.

Attendance for non-full diploma students: Students may stay home the morning before an afternoon exam. They are responsible for communicating their absence directly to their teachers. All students will be expected to attend afternoon lessons, regardless of morning exams. Students in AP classes will be encouraged to attend all AP classes. There are attendance tabs on the Mock Exam Schedule March 2019 so that teachers can check which students will be in exams when.

Year 2 DP classes will not be in session during mock exams. Full DP students will only report to school when sitting their exams.
