Head of School Survey now live

Dear Faculty –

Here is a link to the 2017 Head of School Survey which is live today and will remain open until next Wednesday (01 March 2017).

If you are new to SSIS, the HoS Survey is the first of a series of surveys we’ll send out, approximately one per month, to solicit feedback and suggestions from the faculty and staff about the work of the senior admins. All survey responses are anonymous. Mine are collected by Ms. Ha Noi in HRD through a special SurveyMonkey account that she alone controls. Those results are collected and collated by her and the unfiltered results are shared with the board chair, Ms. Gayle Tsien.

The other admin surveys (principals, assistant principals [new this year], curriculum, ICT, etc.) are run by me through my school SurveyMonkey account. I collect and collate those results and share them with the appropriate member of the admin team.

Our practice has been that administrators write a reflection to the faculty/staff (or subset of those where appropriate) regarding strengths and areas of growth and improvement noted in the survey results. We do not release the raw data from the surveys.

All faculty and staff (teachers, TAs, office staff) are invited to participate. Last year’s survey responses were very thoughtfully done and detailed and I hope you have seen at least some of your issues addressed by me.
