Mid Quarter Update on PowerSchool–  We are now 3 and 1/2 weeks into the first quarter.  Next Friday (Sep 11th), is the mid quarter checkpoint.  Make sure to have the most accurate grade entries in PowerSchool to provide feedback to our students and parents.  There are only 5 weeks left in the quarter (WWW being one), so remember our professional responsibilities about grading with multiple data points.  The end of the quarter will be here before you know it.

Observations Started–  I have started my observations of the year.  Thao will be using Google Calendar to schedule a pre-conference, observation and post-conference with you.  If there is a conflict with the observation date or block chosen please contact Thao to reschedule it for a different time during the week.  Please come prepared to the pre-conference to discuss the lesson’s objectives, instructional delivery methods and types of assessments used to gauge student understanding.  After the observation, I will be sending you a self assessment form to complete before our post conference.
