Wellness – A Whole Lot More than Just Fitness

The previous post shared some misconceptions about Positive Psychology. Less a misconception of our PERMAH-minded staff is that we sometimes jump to fitness when we think of ways that the school, our teams and we as individuals can support each other. Each pillar of PERMAH is equally important in providing a pathway towards wellbeing. Look to unpack each PERMAH pillar to list ways that you, your team and possibly the school can help you engage your character traits within each pillar. Note how the pillars can overlap. And remember that the H not only stands for making healthy choices about sleep, diet and exercise but it also represents our mental health.
