Preparing for the Holidays with Gratitude – Part 2

With the holidays approaching it is important to acknowledge and process the emotions that we usually experience during this time of year. We also need to acknowledge the loss of not being able to travel and be with our loved ones.

We can employ the character strength of proactivity to support our well-being by making time to engage with the character strength of gratitude. You have probably heard about keeping gratitude journals and doing loving kindness meditations as ways to be thankful. There are several other strategies that you can practice to bring the benefits of gratitude into your life.
