Wellness Integration – Teacher as Designer

What are a ways that you can MIX the Character Strengths and PERMAH pillars into your teaching and the culture of your classroom? I recently did a workshop with the teaching assistants in the ES working to design some activities and use of language as integration techniques. We worked from the list below. What are other ways that we can infuse our classrooms, sports fields, performance rooms, etc. with the tenets of Positive Psychology? 

  • Activities
  • Standalone lessons from purchased curriculum
  • Units of study integration 
  • Use language of Character Strengths and PERMAH
