96. Update: Protocols for Positive COVID-19 Test Result

Dear Faculty & Staff,

We want to let you know that a member of our SSIS community has tested positive for COVID-19 through PCR testing. Fortunately, this person feels fine and is not experiencing any health issues. They are asymptomatic and expected to remain so.

They have not been in contact with anyone in our community in recent weeks, and we are providing care, guidance, and support to them.

Although we hope that no other members of our community will have to experience receiving a positive COVID result, we would like to reassure you that we have protocols in place to support you if you are confirmed COVID-19 positive, i.e., F0.

What to Do If You Test Positive for COVID-19, i.e., “F0”

If you test positive for COVID-19, i.e., identified as an F0, you should contact your supervisor, the Health Office, or HR as soon as possible so that SSIS can support you.
