Mindful Appreciation & Talking to Children About COVID-19

The University of Wisconsin-Madison offers up two helpful articles this week. The first by Dr. Richard Davidson:

“Social distancing is also an act of generosity and compassion toward others by eliminating our interactions as a possible vector for viral transmission. Let that sink in – the primary motivation for social distancing is to benefit others.”

Dr. Davidson writes to remind us to reflect upon our circumstances with the perspective of seeing our common humanity with appreciation. The second article is an interview with Dr. Travis Wright who shares strategies on how to talk to children about COVID-19.
